Support Saguaro National Park Like many national parks throughout the country, Saguaro simply would not be able to accomplish many of the things that help visitors enjoy their park, without the assistance of a dedicated group of park volunteers. In 2005 alone, 536 park volunteers donated almost 25,000 hours of time to Saguaro. The projects these folks participated in include; assisting biologists with research projects, pulling non-native weeds, day to day maintenance functions, leading nature hikes and patrolling trails on foot and horseback. Not only are we fortunate to have this tremendous cadre of park volunteers, we also have financial support from two great non-profit organizations, The Friends of Saguaro National Park and Western National Parks Association. |
